Mr. Sekhri appreciates the author's efforts at drawing a parallel between how the law was used during the heyday of the British Raj and how it has come to be used in democratic India. He concludes by expressing his views with respect to the approach adopted by the author and gives his opinion as to whom the book would be best suited and directed to.
